Many people are under the
impression that quality hand crafted oak furniture is a luxury
only the affluent may enjoy.
Twelve years ago with this in mind, our managing director set
out to source ways of producing a range of high quality oak
furniture, priced at a level to capture the everyday consumer
and create our own brand name loyalty.
We have a commitment to quality and no corners have been cut
in the reproduction of fine 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th Century
pieces. Although as many traditional methods as possible are
used, we also ensure our products can withstand modern day
living conditions, as the furniture looks just as remarkable
as any original, whether it is situated in an 18th Century
mansion or a modern penthouse apartment.
All the oak timber is kiln dried to keep moisture content
down to a minimum: Although highly labour intensive, all
turnings and detailed carvings are meticulously and painstakingly
worked by hand by many highly skilled craftspeople, allowing
us to ensure the originality of each piece. |
